JoAnn Fakhouri 

CEO/ President

JoAnn Fakhouri is an award winning film producer, director and president of Capital J Productions, LLC., a PR 

consulting and production firm.  She has been working in the industry for over 20 years, starting out as a Casting Agent, then moving on set as an Extras Coordinator and Production Assistant. 

 

She eventually advanced to a Producer and later a Director in Chicago and Los Angeles.  JoAnn has worked on television

shows such as ER, Early Edition, Judge Mathis and The Joan Cusack Show. Some of her Feature Film credits include Spiderman II, Road to Perdition, What Women Want, Stranger Than Fiction, Shall We Dance, Proof and Derailed. She has worked with Hollywood's A-list actors; Mel Gibson, Richard Gere, Gwenyth Paltow, Jeremy Piven, and Anthony Hopkins.  As a film producer, JoAnn has had the opportunity to work on award winning film productions such as 'Chicago Mirage' directed by Sayed Badreya and 'Dreams I Never Had' directed by Iyad Hajjaj.  

 

As President of Capital J Productions, JoAnn's clients have appeared on the Red Carpet, on television, radio and in national and international publications.

 

In addition to Public Relations, Producing and Directing, she also manages various music recording artists. Featuring their music on radio and television.

 

In 2022 her documentary project "Ethics in Media" recieved the DePaul University Excellence Award. In 2018, Fakhouri was recognized for her humanitarian efforts and presented with the We Dream In Color Michelle Obama HUMANITARIAN OF THE YEAR AWARD at the Du Sable Museum in Chicago and received the Certificate of Excellence from Cook County Treasurer Maria Pappas.
